Las Vegas has long been known for its megastars to take to the stage, from the Rat Pack and Elvis way back in the 60s and 70s, to the likes of Elton John, Barry Manilow and Shania Twain who have all made the Nevada city their home in recent years.
It’s the perfect way to end a day in Las Vegas, enjoying a day enjoying the type of slots we usually have to play on the internet through the likes of 777.nl, before heading back to your hotel and getting ready for one of Las Vegas’ incredible shows.
Every day you can find another superstar to watch, but there are also many acts that haven’t enjoyed a Las Vegas residency yet, and many that we’d hugely love to see do one! But who are the four star performers we’d most like to see settle down in Vegas for an extended spell?
Bruce Springsteen
Springsteen performed a quite breathtaking show during his residency on Broadway and we’d love to see him bring that to Las Vegas. While he may be more an Atlantic City man, with the Vegas of the East Coast in his native New Jersey, Springsteen would be a welcome addition to residencies in Vegas and he’s even covered Viva Las Vegas in the past – what a finale that would be.
He’s of course performed in the city before on his many tours, but he’s never stayed for a longer period of time. It’s something we’d truly love to see.
Madonna
Madonna hasn’t had the best experience in Las Vegas. The last time she was here in 2019 she was booed after arriving on-stage after midnight, but she is the perfect artist to take up a residency in the city.
And it has been tried before. She was rumoured to have been offered a $1billion deal to consider a five year residency in Las Vegas, and it’s certainly the sort of occasion people would flock to each and every night. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before Madge takes up the offer, particularly with Britney Spears proving how successful it can be.
The Rolling Stones
The Stones have passed through Vegas a number of times but never for very long. Blink and you’ll miss them, but if you are in the city when they are, you are in for a treat.
There are a number of tales about the Stones in Vegas from down the years, but as they now enter the twilight of their careers, they’d be perfectly suited for a greatest hits deal over a number of years, although we’re not entirely sure there’s a theatre big enough for them each night!
Harry Styles
The rumours are that Harry Styles could well be getting his own Las Vegas residency in the coming years at The Sphere. There’s been a formal invitation and it would be fantastic as the shows at the new venue in The Venetian have been really quite something.
He has the star-power for it, and you know he’d do something special with it. Has he got so much more to give on the road touring the world though? We’d probably say so.
